Does anyone have any experience of ordering a rear badge for their Porsche? I would like to get hold of an 'RS60 Spyder' badge for my.........RS60 (in Porsche lettering). Any suggestions? Thanks.

You can buy it from Porsche - or am I missing something?

Your not Mark but our friend may be - The discount offered by Porsche for PCGB Members[;)]

Thanks for the info. The 'Boxster S' badge is readily available, but I've not been able to find an 'RS60 Spyder' badge online, other than from a very expensive custom supplier in the US (around ÂŁ600!). I didn't think that it was available from Porsche either, as it was never an official production badge as far as I'm aware.

Thanks John, but I'm trying to find 'RS60 Spyder' in Boxster lettering (and in chrome, just to be difficult!) not 'Spyder" or 'Boxster S'. I'm sure I've seen one somewhere on a photo but can't remember where.

Have you actually tried Porsche? I'd be surprised if it's not available as they would normally have spares for accident repaired cars etc.
If your nearest dealer isn't too near they will usually post for a reasonable cost.

Don't forget your membership discount as jdpef356 says [:D]

Thanks Mark, but I don't think it will be available from Porsche as these cars were supplied with either a 'BoxsterS' rear badge, or, like mine, debadged. I guess the 'RS60 Spyder' badge I saw somewhere was a one-off custom job.

Plenty of Porsche Badges here:-

See http://www.cartype.com/pages/2341/porsche_related_emblems

includes Boxster Spyder but not RS

Thanks again John. That's probably the closest I'm going to get without going to the expense of having something made.

Apart from possibly making up the script badge using elements of others RS, 60, Spyder how about getting one made as a Decal.

A mate had a special RS Carrera wing flash made to fit his wing for a LHD RS by using a photo of an original and they measured the wing to take the decal then made it to suit, it looks brilliant.

Hi Nick

Very nice! Where did you get that one?

The one I saw was all chrome (no red) and arranged in a straight line, much like the standard 'BoxsterS' badge, or just as displayed on the door sills.

More like this perhaps (insert), it is from a Canadian supplier, however try giving Rick (eastendr) a call as he maybe able to help you:

Buddy,

I've seen decals similar to what I'm looking for online, but would prefer a 3D chrome badge for the boot lid similar to the one above, if I can find one!

Nick,

That is exactly what I am looking for! Thanks v much for the info.

I bought my car last June, 2 years old with 8500kms on the clock (I live in France). It is as new, like the one above, and I couldn't be happier with it. It is my first Porsche.
