Following on from yesterday's post I've trawled around the net and have come up with the following which may be of interest to others.
944 (non turbo) pre 87 part no:944.352.041.02 is GSF 603 PO 0050
944 (non turbo) 87 on part no:944.352.041.03 is GSF 603 PO 0080
Equivalent part number for Centric: 944.352.041.03 is 120.37026
Bendix part no: 944.352.041.03 is PRT5102
Zimmermann part no for 944.352.041.03 I think is WO133-1609912
The 944.352.041.03 disc is the one with the greater overall width of about 100mm.
The Zimmermann discs are supplied by GSF under their own part numbers and are now supplied with a new coating (The Z coating) which prevents corrosion on the non-friction exposed parts of the disc, similar to the OE specced discs - as far as I can see.
Excellent service from GSF, just phoned at 8-30 this morning, confirmed part number, replacement discs ordered on Birmingham and will be in Ipswich, ready to collect, by 2-30 this afternoon. No hassle with exchanging the others which were correctly supplied by them, but wrongly ordered by me. (The info on their website is a bit confusing, the parts I need are listed as for 16v cars and mine is an 8v).

The 16valve S model has the same brakes as the 8 valve model from 87MY, its a GSF website cockup

As you know, all changed on the discs in 87MY
