can any one tell me the approx price of the metal heat sheat that attaches to the bumper itself as ive recently bought an updated bumper but the heatsheild is missing
thanks in advance

The part number for the heat shield in an 03- rear PU is 986.505.475.01. I don't know the UK price, but the list price in the USA is $61, so I reckon about £40-45 allowing for 'rip-off Britain' rates.

Hi,

Can tell you exactly as I've just done it myself fitting an 03 bumper to an MY02 car. Part P986.505.475.01 Heat Prote is £29.97, P986.505.631.02 Wheel Hous is £48.94 and P986.505.632.02 is £48.94 also. All plus Vat and I seem to recall that I spent about another £20 on new clips and fixings. All prices here were plus VAt so its about £170 all in. Hope that Helps.

Hi Danny -- so the only parts you require for the updated rear bumper are the heat protector and the two wheel housings? I thought there was extra bracketing as well? (Might do an update on mine one day...)
PS Where did you get your facelift kit, or did you pick it up part by part?

The PET shows a few different parts - heatshields, heatshield retaining strip, wheel housing liner, retaining strip along the top edge and parking sensor mountings. If anyone wants a pdf of the parts list, email me and I'll attach it to a reply.
