I had two of the Mamas and Papas Pro-Tec's in mine.

I've still got one fitted for my 3 year old

They don't work like other seats as the belt goes over the top and under the seat which works very well in the 996 as the 996's belt catch is so far forward it causes a problem with the fitment of a lot of other seats.

My oldest boy is 5 now and he's been moved a while in to a Cybex Solution S. I think these have been superceded by the solution X now and I'm not sure if the X fits the same.

Philippe, I've still got the other Pro-Tec (in the same black chequer) I took out in the garage if your interested in a good condition second-hand one?. I'm not too far from you in Peterborough and I'll also be at the R24 Boat Trip in St. Ives on the 9th Aug and then monthly Club meet at the Ferry Boat Nr. St Ives on the following Wednesday the 12th if you'd like to see how they fit. PM me if your interested.
