Rear Decal - Where is Best?

i am having a little paintwork done to my 944 to make it look tip top. The issue? I need the rear decal to be removed.

Do Porsche still make these? If not, who is the best person to get them off? I see that a load of people on ebay make them, but are any of them actually any good? (If I am honest, my decal has yellowed slightly over the years).

I priced all my decals, badges and stone guards from Type 911. Matt was very open about what was best bought from a Porsche Centre, with the Club discount making a big difference. other parts he recommended e-bay suppliers, as they were equivalent quality but at prices he couldn't beat.

The rear decal (I assume you mean the Porsche script, not the turbo badge) came from this guy http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/kpporsche. I obviously can't say that it'll be the same service a year on, but it was a perfectly good service and quality.

They were circa £30 from OPC a couple of years ago, one of my cars had a e bay copy fitted, looked okay but not to the trained eye [;)]

I should have clarified that it was indeed the rear script decal that I wanted Paul, sorry :). KPP shall certainly be considered.

Frenchy, such comments do not help! I may price one up from an OPC assuming they are still made, and on the basis that their pricing structure seems to be variable on many things.

Craig, that is certainly something I could consider. I could see what it looks like after it comes out of the bodyshop sans script. It is hard to imagine it looking right, but you never know:).

Mine is currently sans script after it's paintwork. I have a £10 eBay one to go back on but Frenchy is right that it is ever so slightly different at the corners. I have since found out that Rick at highgate house does one that is a perfect facsimile for £18 so worth dropping him a line.

Porsche centre Leicester, ask for Glenn in parts, mention the 944 forum,he is coming to Rutland with the Service manager in his S2,they love 944s and want to help,we should use them!
