Rear facing baby seats in rear of C2

The current one is a little too large, thus the front passenger seat needs to be too far forward - this is fine for journeys of about an hour but restrictive otherwise.

Can anyone recommend any seats from experience that would allow more room. Otherwise I have an eight month wait before the prince can be used. That seat is fine with our 3 year old.
