Rear fog light problem

Hi looks like no power to my rear fog lights (911 3.2 Carrera cabriolet) and I'm wondering if the fault could lie with the switch. Any ideas how to remove the switch and check? Thanks Mike

Hi Mike
To remove the switch you must remove the cold air blower unit under the front bonnet,
First check the fuse this also powers the front fogs, do your rear fog lamps hang down under the rear bumper,
If so the the two wires come in under the n/s rear bumper test to see if you have power and earth,
The lamps often lose earth,

Charles firstly many thanks for your help/advice much appreciated. There is no power to the rear fogs and the fuse is OK. The fog light switch itself lights up. Could it also be the relay at fault - I believe there is one for the fogs? The lights do hang below the bumper. Will check earth. Had thought might have to remove the blower - do you know if that's covered in the full manual? Is it relatively easy? (of course once you've done these things it usually seem easy it's doing them for the first time that's pain! Thanks Mike

Hi
In the engine bay on the left hand side inner wing is a smell multi plug , 6 pins feeding the rear lights + fog lamps check fog lamp power on one pin, one pin will be powered as this is side light, never fitted a switch.

Hi I found that one of the wires under neath had corroded ...quick fix and easy ( for a change 0[]
