Rear Fog Lights

My nearside rear fog light does not work but the offside one does. When I swap the bulbs (to check it is not just the bulb) the same happens. I have checked the wiring and appears ok and the fuse (which I assume feeds both lamps) is also ok. Is this a common fault or do I have a broken cable somewhere? John
 
That sounds a bit cheap for such a high performance car. Any chance of getting both working together? Even my van has 2 rear fog lights !
 
On LHD cars, only the left hand light is connected. I think it is a regulation in most countries. Personally, I think rear fog lights are one of the most mis-used pieces of equipment on cars. It annoys me when people either leave them on, or are driving at 80mph with them on. What kind of visibility problem do they have at that speed? Having only one side illuminated means that it doesn't blind both brake lights.
 
Totally agree. The worst mis-use is when being used during rain! Total numties who should be fined for dangerous driving. Fog lights and brake lights don't mix. John
