Rear foglight wiring.

I'm in the process of cleaning up the rear end having removed the bumper assembley and lights. The rear fog has worked fine since I've owned her however some bright spark in the past has taken a feed from the switch, through the bulk head to the rear light and as a result there is a blue wire fastened and tied up here and there along the handbrake cable and then around the oil tank to the light, it looks CRAP!! Where should the original wiring come out at around the engine? I've got the shrouded cable for the number plate lights and the oil tank sender, what colour wires should I be looking for?

Usual wire colours for fog lights were:
From connector (possibly pin 6) - white/red
Common - white

Thanks Geoff, found it eventually tied up in the rear n/s corner, all rewired and working great now and the horrid old wire stripped out.
