Rear Hatch seals

Hi

I have just bought a 968 bridge spoiler hatch to put on my 944 Turbo. Now the lock pins and seals appear to be slightly different.

My question is does anyone have a picture of said pin seals so I can see how they fix on. On the 44 they are part of the lock pin assembly and attach to the glass hatch itself, but on the 968 hatch the rubber seals appear to be fixed to the body of the vehicle.

If anyone has pics that would be very usefull.

Thanks in advance

Lee, the pin and seal assemblies are different on the 968. The rear panel where the pins locate into the catch has a large rectangular hole where the alloy block/pin on the hatch fits into. The seal is a rectangular in shape and is secured to the back panel with 2 screws.

If its not urgent I can take some pics for you in the next day or two.

That would be really helpfull thanks.

I have ordered 2 of the above mentioned rubbers secured with 2 screws anyway, as Porsheshop say I can retrofit them to stop exhaust gases/water going down the pin hole.

Some pics to see how it all fits together would be great though.

Thanks a lot

Lee
