Rear Hatch

Apart from the spoilers they are, so they will all fit any 924/944/968.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]The 924 had either no spoiler or a smaller rubber one than the 944, the later '44s and 968s had the bridge. The drillings through the glass are different depending the spoiler type fitted.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

ouch. the hatch is not an easy thing to do! if you want to fix it yourself, you have to remove it very very carefully, and do a lot of prep work to get rid of the existing glue, paint and general gubbins. There are a few examples of people having done it on www.rennlist.com , but not many as it is such a pig. It can be done, but you're probably best off sourcing a decent used unit and replacing it completely. I've seen them go on ebay for £50 in the past......

If you want to go lexan, you can get them from www.gt-racing.com or www.lindseyracing.com (GT's agents) in the states. It may be a bit easier to fit than glass, but..... No rear heated element either......

If the hatch is out of place in one location, doesn't that mean it will be out of place in others? Is there difficulty in closing it? Water leaks?

The only leak is where the visible gap is. I can see no visible distortion anywhere round the frame. There is some disparity in the latches releasing; as it seems to release one side then the other...

Greatful for any suggestions.

Shaun

Many thanks Mike,
