Hi all, first post so sorry if this is an 'old' question, I had a browse and couldn't find anything similar...
I have recently picked up my second 944 Lux. It's an early '85 and the only obvious problem is that the glass in the rear hatch is sufficiently scewed to produce a 5mm gap from the frame for a length of about 200mm at the top kerbside corner. Firstly, has anyone seen this before? Is it likely to be as 'simple' as removing the hatch, strip and rebuild or are there any known issues?
Seen as it needs to come out anyway, does anyone know of the availability of Lexan or other polycarbonate replacement rear screens?
Many thanks
