rear heater blower motor

Any one know of a supplier of this part, original or equivalent. I have only been able to find the complete unit at fairly exotic prices.

Euro car parts do the Hella heater blower motor for £426 including delivery - but your best bet might be to try someone who is breaking a 993 - think there is a chap on ebay breaking a 993 targa that got front ended - he was selling some 993 instrument clocks from it - so the rear blower should be fine....would certainly be far cheaper than a brand spanking new one. Either that or one of the specialist Porsche breakers that are out there.

If it's just the bushes or bearings you may be able to re-condition yours, or find someone that can.

Do you know what it wrong with it ?

Oh - and if anyone can find a link to the 993 Targa being broken on eBay referenced above I'd love to have it. There's a few bits I'd be interested in buying but I can't find it!

Regarding the link on ebay for the Targa - he was selling the dashboard components - clocks, etc...I wanted something else so gave him a ring the car is apparently a Targa - front end write-off.

Item number on ebay is 150581905694 - think his contact details are on there.
