Rear jacking point

I'm planning on fitting a new exhaust to my MY2003 996 Turbo and want to check where under the engine it is safe to jack from so that I can put the car on axle stands under the normal side jack points. I'd be grateful for some pointers is anyone knows. On the normal 996 engine I know it is safe to lift from under here but not sure for the dry sump engine.

Thanks in advance

Nick

Hi Nick,

Not sure where to Jack from? Personally I'd consider having it done by someone with some experience in the field. But interested to know which exhaust you went for?

apart from that renntech is a great source for technical stuff.

Renntech have suggested its ok under the seam of the engine which makes sense and I have seen photos of this point being used. I just wanted to see if anyone on here had any other ideas.
