Rear light unit

One of my reversing lights seems to have gone and having changed the bulb it made no difference. This is just a lazy question really as I haven't checked the fuses or my manual to see what fuses may be involved. Anyway, does anyone know if it could be fuse related? Otherwise, I'm thinking I'm going to have to replace the whole bosh unit as it doesn't seem to be serviceable. Is this correct? Any help much appreciated, MOT at the weekend! Cheers

Looked in my Bentley manual this morning and there is a fuse for each of the reversing (parking as they call them) lights apparently, so hoping this is the problem! [:D]

It's turned out to be slightly dodgy connecivity between the contacts and the bulbs, all working now! Was just about to start checking with the meter when I moved the bulbs and they started to work. Hope they stay that way for the MOT and beyond! Cheers

Kristian, if you want to make sure the bulbs continue to function buy yourself a small tube of electrical contact grease from Halfords or your local motor factors and lightly coat the contacts with it. If you spot any corrosion on the contacts remove that first with a piece of fine emery paper before applying the grease.
