Thank you very much.

How do you put them,do I need to break the old ones and then put clear lens with some kind of glue or silicon.

Your need a dremel and a drill. I did mine with just a dremel. Mask up the paint work around the lights so it dont flick hot melted plastic on it. Cut diagonal across the old one in a X starting from the middle, then just work your way around, clean up with the grinder wheel.

Paint a black line on the inside eage off plastic so u get the same style finsh, I think I used a sharpie pen in the end and clear glue that shock resitance.

I took the light units out of the car to do mine and used black silicone (plus painting the inside rim of the new lens black) oh and heat the lens with a hairdryer to shape and not a hot air gun as the lens can become VERY supple quickly.

End result is they look better than the reversing lens next to them so i will be removing them also at some point to make them match.

There was no need 2 heat when I did mine. After 2/3 years they have yellowed slightly compered 2 the reverse lense.

Ever 944 light cluster Iv seen tends 2 have silghtly differnt tones in colour, from car 2 car

Unless your rear lights are leaking or you got some where under cover 2 work, I would sirguest removing and instole the light, if you get caught out, and it rains slicone will get wet, run all over the paint work, and your end up with a leak in the new seal. Happened 2 me once in the summer, had a fishing umbrella over the the rear off the car, pillow on the spoiler and it still got wet. However some people recommend double side neoprene 2 fix the lights.

I personally think its quicker leaving the lights in place. U can change the bulb from outside the car as well,

Protocast is your first place to look, Richard is a 944 owner himself.

Cheers Paul, I'm still making them to order and have a set on the shelf. Fitting guide with pics supplied. Personally I wouldn't consider doing the job with the units on the car and I prefer to use a black polyurethane sealant rather than silicone. P.U is much easier to clean off before it cures than silicone.

I'm also often asked about the clear fog lens. I stopped making these some years ago, but for those intent on on it, you can use the reverse lenses removed from another set of lights. Here's a pic from one of my customers would did that...
