Rear Luggage blind.???

Hi Chaps.
Ive got a luggage blind in the back of my S2. ****NOT the roller type.****

One question,,???

It seems to have "ears" fitted.. What i mean by that is it has 2 pieces of material that hang down from the central bar . They look like pockets but can be undun with a press stud type of fastener..
Just what use do these "ears" have.???
Are they supposed to attatch to the car somewhere...???

I also have another blind from a 968 sport that doesnt have the "ears". IE no extra material..
So thats why im asking , what may seem like a silly ?????

What are the "ears " for.???

The "Ears" are to provide cover for any items stowed on top of the seat backs when they are folded down.
