Rear Panel Sticker

Hi,
Just looked at another Lux today, 89 2.7, seems good, but I'm bugged by the missing rear panel sticker. Spent ages looking around inside and outside the boot and the chassis legs, rear panel, spare wheel well all look untampered. The brushed on seam sealer seems to match that of the tops of the front shock absorber struts under the bonnet. I would really appreciate any comments regarding this, if anyone else has had an issue with it.

Well the rear sticker trick is only a guide that the rear end may have been repaired. It could well have been washed off because of a leak, or maybe a trainee at the factory goofed up and missed it off. The good thing is you were suspicious and gave the area a really good look, but could find nothing untoward. So it's either a really good repair, or just has a missing sticker

Paul,
Thanks for your reply.
I've decided to hold fire on that car. There will be plenty more to consider with options labels still there.
