Rear parking sensor dislodged

Hi, my 2015 Cayman has parking sensors installed in the usual place on the rear plastic apron. One of them has been pushed backwards out of its slot. Although I can get my hand in round the back and touch it, I can't put it back in position.

Do I need to take the apron off and, if so, is it an easy job?

I had a front one go out backwards but was able to push it back into its proper place. As I recall the PU has a tube into which the sensor fits. I'd try to some pressure on it to push it back in place - PU off is not difficult but I expect getting it all back and aligned might be a bit of a faff.

Sounds a bit 'Heath Robinson' I know, but I found that a piece of dowel with double sided tape enabled me to hold and align the sensor from the outside, through the hole, and could then apply pressure from the back.
