Rear PU Removal

Has anybody removed their rear PU? Any tips would be appreciated.

My PU is flapping about under the rear number plate. Has anybody experienced something similar? Side stays were replaced about two years ago.

I can find lots of info on removing the front PU but nothing for the rear.

Ive taken mine off my 993 c2.
Remove the rear lights,then the centre reflector/fog strip,disconnect the lights plug inside the engine bay.
Remove the top row of fixings that are underneath the reflector strip.
Then remove the rear of the wheel liners and you will see the body to bumper fixings at the back,inside the rear arch space.
Then its just the row of fixings around the bottom of the bumper which connect to the various brackets/tinware.
With all this undone it should slide backwards and off the car(unless i have forgotten something....it was a while ago now).
There are lots of brackets and heat shield tinware that is probably rotten/fallen apart,that you may have to replace.
There is a u-shaped metal strip that rivets to the bottom of the bumper between the exhaust pipes, that gives it strength, that may have fallen off or be missing.
