rear reflector panel

Has anybody got any idea on how the rear reflector panel under the engine lid removes as I can't seem to find any info in any books on how to remove it ??!!!


Any help would be greatly appreciated

Mark,

Have you got the Bentley book? If not get it - section 660-4 details this.

Basically lift back the rubber seal
release the fastners, they dont screw out completely
tilt panel out - top first
should now pull out of retaining clips at the bottom. Be aware your fog lights should be wired in.

small problem there, my car's an '85 version and doesn't have the fog lamp type panel.

arrggghhhh!!!

Well I cant be certain, but I believe that process is the same, except you dont have to deal with the wires, can anyone confirm?

no, it is not the same. the panel seem to be 'captive' and i can't see how it is fixed in.
