I had my front and rear screen rust bubbles fixed about 18 months ago (see an earlier post for more info) and everything still looks great. However, the spoiler/housing for the third brake light - attached to the top of the rear screen - has come adrift on one side. Judging by the residue underneath, Premier Panel Skills fixed it on with something that looks like mastic or silicone sealant. I tried bathroom sealant as I had some but that didn't hold. Camtune tells me the factory uses very strong double-sided tape and the duct tape I have holding it in place now works well for a temporary fix, albeit an ugly one.
I could take the car to Camtune to get it sorted out but I'll do it if there's a simple alternative. Does anyone else recommend a weatherproof tape or has done this before?
Thanks
James
