Rear screen

I noticed in this month of freezing weather that my rear screen doesn't work. It surprised me as the alarm and lights in the boot all work fine. I've had issues on a previous car of all 3 going wrong when non handed struts were fitted. I haven't managed to ascertain if the mirrors clear yet.
So what does what - ie which strut is for the screen? I don't think the elements are damaged and I haven't checked the relay yet, its too damn cold in the evenings. SO I shall glean what info I can before the weekend and then look at it and bash through the Clarks instructions.
Thanks

Fron the circuit diagram it looks as though the feed from the HRW switch routes via both struts and then to earth. I would start with the easy bit (does the left strut have a voltage and does the right strut has a good earth connection). The strut is fed direcly from the switch - there are no relays.

Oh the joy of a cabrio. If the rear window is steamed up just take down the roof!
