Does anyone know if its possible to fit simple lap harness seat belts into the rear seats? I have found some on the porscheshop website for a decent price but im not shure where the plug sockets would attach onto as the gearbox is in the way..... [:)]

Thanks

Andy

My 924 has just one lap belt fitted to the o/s rear seat it is bolted through the body behind the o/s wheel, have just verified and I can see the bolt head there appears to be a plate fitted behind the head of the bolt.

The other half of the belt is bolted through the tunnel arch, there is a slit in the rear seat cover which is stiched to enable the belt to move.

Could take a pic if you like, just let me know.

Regards Ian

Andy, all the cars should have rear seat belt points integrated in to the body. They have threaded bungs welded in on either side of the seat area side wall. If you get a set of rear seat belts you just need to locate the bungs and cut small holes in the seat cover and bolt in the lap belt.
