as the resurection of my 84 924 is comming to an end ive realised, as a father of 2 young children i should have realised earlier!, there are no rear seatbelts fitted nor anywhere obvious that they should be fitted..............

any ideas??

Dont worry, all cars have provision for two point fixed or inertia laps: all youll need are the belts and the bolts and four small holes in your rear squab. All cars have provision for fixed three point belts too: thats what the ugly plastic blanking plug covers in the C pillar. Fitting inertia three pointers in the rear may take a little more work though, because not all bodies have provision for the reel mount, but this isnt impossible to overcome (vague there because its well over a decade since I looked at an early car to fit three point inertia reel belts...).

aw fantastic, first thought that went through my mind was "bugger the kids cant come in"
need to get all the rear out and have a look

now does anyone have any photos showing exactly where and how 3 point ones ones are mounted. fitting them is one thing ensuring they work is another!!!

I fitted 3 point statics last year and it is quite simple. Bought the belts from these guys.
Just need a steady hand when cutting access to the central fixing points...
