Rear seat belts

Can someone point me to a technical article about fitting 3-point rear belts to our 924S-ours has the mounting points for lap & diagonal-I need the info on mounting plates etc for the inerta reels etc.
Thanks.

Thanks for that-presumably the belt runs through the side of the rear seat squab back to the reel-now where could I get the wedge shaped pieces-any chance of a jpeg or 2? Cheers,Colin.

Its like the early 944s - there needs to be a plate attached in the boot behind the wheel arch, standard on the later 944s, The belt goes up to the C pillar Thread already there covered by a large plastic "bolt" and down to a lower mount by the side of the rear seat. The clasp is attached to the transmission tunnel, again the nuts are welded in place but will have to be found through the covering. Mike

Mike, Thanks for that- the car has all the normal fixing points with plastic cover caps at present but only for lap & diagonal belts. I replaced the worn seats a year ago with some nice full leather ones which already have the apertures for the rear belt centre clasp section so just need the belts to complete the job. I presume the reel fixing plates can be bolted in place as I don't fancy welding anything and I guess that they would fix to the frame type steelwork around the sunroof motor area. Cheers, Colin.

I think the plates are welded in vertically between the hatch frame and the seam at the side of the boot floor. I want to have a good look at them but I'm sure equivelent(?) plates could be bolted in. Mike
