rear seatbelt advice

I have bought a set of rear inertia seatbelts to replace my lap belts in my 86 Lux and I cant see how they will fit with the 3 mount points.
The reellooks like it should fit under the top mount point, however there doesnt seem to be a mounting point for this.
Can anybody advise me if the belts would fit and if so, how and pics would be a big help.
thank you
Alan

the mounting point for the reel (on the passenger side) is behind the carpet behind the boot light. There should be a bracket into which it will fit and a bolt to hold it in place.

Boot carpets are different to allow belts to pass through them. You may be luck and have them in th car already but i doubt it.

If you need some or advise pm me

cheers

You will have to replace the rear trim panels with ones with cut outs to allow the belt to pass through, are you selling the lap belts as i have non in my 220 and cannot take the kids out in it ?
You should be able to get the trim piexces cheapo as the breakers will not really sell that many ?

If boot carpets does not have "hole" for the belts, it's possible there are not bracket for the belts. In some cases there are those brackets, mostly in '87 and newer. I had an '86 951 US models as a part car which misses those brackets. My '88 US model with lap belts have those brackets and i have installed 3-point belts.

I have several shells that i could cut the brackets from so if you are handy at welding you could add them to your car.

cheers
