this is going to sound stupid, but I cant get the rear seats to fold down in the cayenne,

I can see the little levers and the one on the drivers side has a little tab thing that pulls up, but no matter how much pushing pulling, then dont seem to release the seats,

anyone any suggestions ? (apart from reading the manual ! - which is in a box somewhere in the loft)

thanks
scott.

Hi Scott,

I have the same problem.
Inside there are 3 lugs which locate onto the release mechanism, these break off.

I have to press the locking catch up manually from inside the boot to release the seats and am looking for an alternative as replacement parts are an arm and a leg (and may even break again).

Hope this help
Dave

Hi Scott

had similar problem, but I found the best technique is to pull the strap whilst using your other hand to pull the seat forward and lift simultaneously rather than just pulling the strap and trying to lift the seat straight up from the back. hope that makes sense.
