Rear shocks

Hi
I was wondering if I have early shocks or late, I ordered some rear shocks earlier in the year without actually checking wether they were up rated ones or not, you've guessed the old ones were and the new ones are not and hence do not match the front.
The shocks have different size holes larger at the bottom than the top.
Cheers
Dave

I fitted some rear KYBs to my lux it was a long time ago but pretty sure I had to drill them to fit. Lux was 86 pre ABS so guessing the early ones are larger dia the 87 on smaller. Tony

Thanks for the reply. I thought that may be the case. I can order some shocks now gaz adjustable for £ 60 a piece sounds tempting ! Dave
