Rear spoiler lettering colour ?

My 944 rear spoiler has "porsche" embossed in to it but I can't make out whether the lettering is supposed to be silver or white as most of it has dissappeared.
Does anyone know what colour it should be and any ideas what sort of paint to use as normal cellulose or enamel paint will presumabely crack with vibration with it being painted on to rubber. Cheers, Foss

It shouldn't have anything on it. Rick sells stickers in various colours to fit in the letter spaces, google "highgate house decals" for his site.

I had black on my old car, looked very subtle but was reflective at night.

I did toy with idea of painting mine in red until someone else changed my mind for me. He said it would look chavvy. In hinesight he was correct [:D]

Ooh mine is white, I can't say I have ever taken enough notice of other cars. I will have a look when I go home and see if they are stickers that can be removed.

I had some of Ricks white ones originally and now I have the blue ones (to match the car) and a set of black ones to go on the S2 that reflect at night.

We're all different [:)]

Thank guys.
Mine was painted when I bought it but the paint is all faded and looks crap, I think it will be easier to repaint than try and scrape it back to black, although the rest of the car is bog standard (except radio).

My car is white and I painted mine in white with stone chip "paint", so it has some flex. Bumper paint with an elastomer in would probably work.
I saw a car at Blenhiem with it in white and liked it.

Do mine reflect at night then, or did you remove them before I bought it? I can't say I've ever noticed any decals in the spoiler lettering, then again I've never stood behind it in the dark and shone a torch at it!
