Rear spoiler rubbing paint on closing.

Hi Folks,

Only noticed it when I manually raised the spoiler for cleaning, but it appears that the most rearward edge of the spoiler is rubbing the bodywork on closing and eroding a small patch of paintwork. Luckily it's only visible when the spoiler is raised. Is this a common problem and is there any fore/aft up/down adjustment for the spoiler in order to give it sufficient clearance?

Thanks very much Maurice, really appreciated. Looks like it's a large case of trial and error but maybe it will be clearer once I've got the car in front of me. Luckily there's a long weekend ahead!
