REAR SPOILER WALL PROBLEMS

I recently replaced the spoiler wall on my 964 and for some reason the spoiler now wont pull down tight with the motor. I removed the motor and the spoiler is still sitting about 1" too high.
Any ideas?

You didn't mention the spoiler wall on the 'phone the other day!! Is there any chance that you've re-fitted the wall in such a way that it stops the spoiler closing fully?? It seems a bit of a coincidence that the problem should follow the replacement. I can't immediately think how you could fit it wrongly but the coincidence it just too much to ignore.
