I've just been in California for a few days (all work unfortunately) and on a single 2 hour bus ride from SFO down to Monteray I spotted five 911s (plus 1 Boxster).
2 identical 996 Cabs in convoy
1 stunning white 993 C2
2 early cars (pre 964 - I'm not good at telling SCs from 3.2s etc)
Anyway, point of all this, is the 993 and both 996's all had their rear spoilers up and had what I can only describe as a "curtain" down the back of it (between the rear of the spoiler and the point the rear folds down to). I've never noticed this on a UK 993.
But, having done some reading around, I have seen a few hints that this is a part that fails early and often needs replacing. (and is called a "wall")
Was this fitted to UK/C16 cars? Do other folk have them and I just haven't noticed them? Does it matter that it's missing from my 993?
Thanks
