Hi all
Been out for a run today and to a local Rotary Club Car Show only to find that my rear spoiler will rise at 50mph but does not fall when I slow down.
It still works with the switch inside the car.

Any suggestions welcome PLEEEEEEASE!

regards lee

will check that in the morning - but there is no light whilst driving.

Light should go off as you move off. If it comes on while driving it means the spoiler is not rising - so you're OK on that point.

Hi steve.
Had a drive up to Newcastle today to get my alignment sorted. Figures were way out. Made hell of a difference for the drive home, especially on the link roads with roundabouts. Well worth the drive up there.

Anyway back to the current topic.
Had a range of different senarios with the spoiler.

There was no light at all this morning and the spoiler was down when I set off. It wouldn't even raise with the switch.
It wouldn't rise when I was on the motorway.
Pulled over at the services and still nothing. Then set off and it decided to come up.
When I got to my destination it was still up.
Then the mechanic fired it up to pull it onto the ramp and it dropped.
Then after having the work done I started the car to find that the light did come on. everything then worked as it should automatically and manually.

I then called at a friends garage on the way home to have my decat pipe fitted, after which..you can guess nothing again.

Its seems that it is just working when it feels like it.

Could this be an issue with the contacts within the clock module?
Sounds very like poor electrical contacts within the clock module especially with the intermittent working of the spoiler light and the sporadic nature of the working of the spoiler.
The other alternative may be the microswitches within the spoiler motor unit.
