Evening Gents (and Ladies)
Question (as it happens!)
I have an annoying creak type rattle when I go over a bump coming from the rear tailgate... Seems worse when hot (as in outside temp etc)TBH - almost like the tailgate lid is flexing..
Was thinking it could be the tailgate pins... I see that they are commonly sold as "to replace your worn pins and stop that annoying rattle" - so thinking it could be those and for the sake of £20 thought i'd give it a go..
Do you think that sounds viable - and are there anyother common rattles from the rear tailgate.. I have checked everything - spare wheel, battery, cd changer, poppers etc etc etc
Also - are the pins adjustable - I see that the shaft is threaded with a nut at the bottom - is that to adjust the length of the pin shaft?
Cheers Anthony
