Been v v busy following Silverstone track evening and now back on`t road following overheating incident with all new coolant etc. Took it for a run and the rear bearing I thought I ran is definitely noisy (rumble and whoom whoom whoom especially when cornering) What symptoms are a drive shaft? (Click? or what)
Coupla questions,
Drained water via bottom hose. Undid bleed nut and reservoir cap until dry but it only took 4 litres of water/coolant mix yet the handbook says it should take 7.8 litres, why is this (ps: also had heater/a/c switch on hot)
When it runs the reservoir is v v hot. Is this normal ie circulation to remove cavitation/bubbles etc?
Finally, how easy is it change rear bearings (88 turbo Mo30). I`ve read Clarks garage etc but wondered if it was straight forward as they say. What have all your experiences been like
