Rear Window Bounce

Hi - I have a 2000 C2 Cab Silver with Boxster red interior and have a problem with one of the rear windows. When raising it with either the roof or normally it reaches the end and then bounces back down again a few inches. I then have to lift it the last few inches by holding the switch. My OPC reckons that the motor will need replacing. This seems a bit drastic. Anyone have any ideas or where I can source a motor myself?
