Does anyone know what order the wires on the rear window wiper switch go? I found the wiring for this tucked up into the dash behind the radio. lol. Wow. Also found the light for the ash tray in there too. As usual the haynes manual doesn't show me what i need to see. Thanks all.

The brown wire goes to the terminal marked no 1 on the switch
The short green wire goes to terminal 2. Long one to the self park contacts on the motor
The black and green goes to terminal three

Thanks for the info. Do you by any chance know if there is more then one haynes manual for these cars? Page 273 on mine is something totally different. Think it's time for me to do some searching for a bentleys manual. lol.

Thanks again.

Yes there is more than one version of the manual. The latest (and in my humble opinion shoddiest) manuals, that appear to be printed on newspaper, have an idiots guide to how difficult a job is using a spanner rating. One spanner = dead easy, 4= much more complex. Those spanners all take up space on the page so everything gets moved further towards the end of the book. I have one of the original Haynes printed on good quality cartridge paper. They come up from time to time on ebay. next time you see one email the vendor and see which type it is. No wonder you are having so much trouble

lol. That could be the problem. Interesting enough though I went to a car boot sale yesterday morning and found a beige colored vetern of a manual for 2 quid. Grabbed that up quick. lol. Thanks for the help though. Think my newer one will become fire lighters.
