Rear Windows Trim

Hi Guys,

Wondering if any one has had any rust bubbles on there 964 rear window trims above rear wings. I was thinking of getting them painted as they are only small bubbles but wondered if anyone had replaced them.

Any Thoughts?

Thank You

I had a similar problem when I bought my 964 Flatnose Turbo S some years ago. It was fixed (rubbed down and reprayed) under the porsche 10 year warranty. The dealer was Lindbrook in Tonbridge Kent and the very helpful sales guy said at the time that the paint process used by porsche on this model sometimes left insufficient coats of paint in this location. It maybe worth getting it checked at a dealer as in the event of a manufacturing fault Porsche may (?) be pressed into dealing with the problem even if it is out of warranty - or am I being naive?
