ORIGINAL: Richard Hamilton I haven't got a rear wiper on mine, but are they a special fitting on the rear blade? The fronts are a standard fitting 22" blade - I got some PIAA silicone blades for mine. I know that on the 996 they are a standard straight 22" blade on the rear wiper, and it is easy enough to get Bosch or other replacements.

ORIGINAL: Richard Hamilton Is the fitting different to the front blades then?

ORIGINAL: Richard Hamilton Looks like they have gotcha then. Unless those aero-type blades they use on BMWs fit, perhaps? They are some strange fitting like that. If I were you, I'd mosey down to Halfrauds and open a few boxes....

ORIGINAL: Buddy Sounds something like the old VW fitting there should be an adaptor provided or maybe use the old one?

ORIGINAL: Buddy Having had the 944 and 968 with rear wipers I can say they only became useful when they had been standing in rain and I needed to reverse, on the road never used. The design of the Cayman Gen1 & 2 is so much better in that respect as being recessed it drains off better when standing, I really can't say for the 981 as I've only driven them in the dry. Back to Chris's problem, is it possible to remove the rubber and swap it with a Bosch item?
