Rear wiper motor connector - where is it!?

Hi All

My rear wiper motor wasn't working and I have traced the problem - it is not connected! I realised the cables from the motor that went through trim of the car through a grommet was loose and pulled it through and realised that the 3 pin connector was not connected to the loom.

It looks like the previous owner has taken trim apart and has for some reason, maybe to replace speakers, disconnected the connector that goes to the motor. What I would like to know before I take the car apart inside is where is the connector on the loom - for example, is it behind the speaker trim or does it run through the roof. It would help as I don't want to remove more trim than I have to in order to find the connector to plug in back in!

Thanks

Paul

It drops down the rear quarter trim and you'll find a white connector under the carpet somewhere.

Many thanks Colin, I'll go and take a look now.

Another thing - the spade connectors have come off the motor and I do not know where they go - I could probably work it out but if anyone could possible have a quick look at let me know that would be a great help.

it is an 87 model and the wires are colour

black, green and green/black.

Cheers

Paul

Funnily enough I swapped a rear motor on an early dash car the weekend - the green wire closest to the motor, the black wire closest to the glass, the , in my case brown wire closest to the side of the car... I suspect you should read green/black for brown. I still have the picture to remind me on my mobile phone[:)]
