I've got 2 weeks to decide whether or not to get the wiper on a 9974S.

This is making me lose sleep...!!

I'd really appreciate as much input as possible from owners who've actually driven long-term in the rain, as opposed to the 2 hours I had on a glorious summers day in Cardiff!
