Recall upgrade?

I took my P-car to an OPC this morning for some new rear tyres. Whilst there it had some warranty recall work done to it.

According to the sales lady (not the "technician") it was a software fix to the "RCU" - rear control unit. The warranty "bill" was £ 16 (not to me but back to Porsche from the OPC)

Does that mean anything to anyone here? The lady had no idea and I could not wait around for the tech guy.
 
A month or so ago mine was in for replacement of a faulty antenna and while at the OPC an update to the engine compartment fan operation was installed. Not sure of the details or if this is the same as the RCU but apparently it was not an issue worthy of a recall just something to be done at the first convenient opportunity.
 
That update, workshop campaign, inhibits the lowest speed setting for the engine compartment fan, why? don't know.
