Recaro Pole Position or SPG with 3-point belts

Here in the US, you can't buy the Recaro Pole Position ABE (TuV approved) version that are approved for road use in Germany. The US DoT has not approved the ABE version, and so Recaro North America does not import that seat into the US.

So my query is...

Has anyone installed the FIA approved versions of the Recaro Pole Position or SPG into their 944/968 and successfully (and safely) used their 3-point belts with either of those seats?
