RECARO seats

I'm looking at getting some RECARO seats for my 968 Sport but wanted to ask here if anyone had any experience of either the Pole Postions or the SPG seats.

It's my daily driver and tracktoy so it needs to be comfortable and supportive.

South Bound Trimmers have been very helpful over the phone, they make their own side-mounts which keep the seats lower than the standard RECARO side-mounts.

I also need recommendations for a decent harness bar for the Schroth 6-point harnesses I plan to get.

Hi Paz - I've got Recaro Poles which I fitted instead of comfort seats - they're really good. Have driven to Le Mans with them twice with no adverse effects. You're welcome to stop by and have a dekko if you want (Cheshire).

Sorry I can't help you with the bar - I've a full cage for my five point belts - shoulder straps loop over the rear "half" of it.

Fraser.

Cheers Fraser that's a very kind offer, sadly I don't get to Cheshire often (pity as I love it oop north) but I'll bare it in mind.
I'd really like to see how low the RECARO seats are, currently my Comfort seats are extremely low, more so than normal (more experienced owners have commented on this) and being only 5'6" short I can barely see the bonnet!
