Recent article on turbo S, gone but never forgotten!

As a recent and very impressed owner of the 997 turbo S, I though the recent article in 911 didn't really do it justice, the sheer biblical all round power and grip got lost in the transcript......I already have the 911 itch though after a week and the cash in the bank is itching to get out and am just in awe of the new gt3, its better IMHO than expected with 4 wheel steer too. I want to rush round and get my name down for one until the new turbo arrives. I have also been thinking maybe I will start a collection of GT3RS s from gen 1 to the 991 when that comes out, I am keen to start collecting 911s of various ages.

But I will drift to the dark side for a while when the 458 spider arrives in a few months and wait my time to see what people think in reality to these new cars, I don't to wait though!

Have to agree..... I thought the article was a little underwhelming, along with a couple of tech/ typo errors which didn't help. 10 weeks into my 997.2 turbo PDK (albeit non-S) ownership, I continue to be stunned by the sheer competence of it, in all weathers! Also, must mention that with sport or sport plus selected the sound (or lack of it) of DFI Turbo lump isn't half as bad as most keyboard experts chat about.... Sure it's different from GT / RS or 991, but that doesn't make it bad.

Very very happy.... but I can see myself in a 991 GT3 one day now that it has PDK!.... Unless the lottery helps me into a new Turbo![:D]
