Hi, new to Porsche ownership and have a recently acquired a nice 996 C4. Just wondered if anybody can recommend an independent Porsche specialist garage in the Sheffield area?

Thanks

Cheers for that, but I am hoping to find somewhere a bit closer to Sheffield and that someone can recommend. Closest one I've found so far is Zentrum North of Nottingham

Hi Simon,

I too can thoroughly recommend RPM at Knaresboro'. If that is too much of a trek Porschetek in Leeds are good too. Recently had some very good customer service from them.

Many thanks indeed for your suggestions everybody, very helpful. always nice to go by recommendation rather than pot luck.

Hopefully I won't need to use them very often!?!

I use Porschtek in Leeds

Thoroughly recommend them
Porschtek changed the cambelt on my 928 recently, seemed to do a good job at a good price.

They seemed to take care, cleaning up where oil had previously leaked etc.

I'm surprised that no-one listed Strasse in Leeds, considering their Porsche experience and involvement with the Region (Harewood). So I've done it!

ps They're very conveniently located just off the Motorway too, if you're coming from the South.

I also use Porschtek Leeds, however Pro Porsche at Brighouse appear to be very professional, just off the M62
their web site tells you a bit more about them

hi

i use Porsche Euro in Grimethorpe, 2 guys called John. I have been very impressed with them.

There is Statler in Attercliffe. I have spoken to him and he seems very knowledgable, but I have never used him.

He is just behind Meadowhall.

For tyres I use Gordons Tyres in Wakefield, on Silkwood Park Ind Estate, just off J40 of the M1. Got a good price from them on a set of Pirellis last week, they also have a four wheel laser alignment machine. I also drive past them everyday on the way to work, which helps :)

I use Malcolm at National Tyres in Barnsley.

You can also get the wheels refurbed at Metal Magic just round the corner if you need.

Pro Porsche ex JCT Technicians have now left and set up in Brighouse called Revolution http://www.revolutionsupercars.co.uk) i use their premises as a base for detailing too if anyone is interested.
