I'm sure that many of you will have bought and used one of these compact Litium Ion battery booster jump start banks .

I'm looking to buy one that will handle an S2 engine and have all the usual bells and whistles.

What have you got and how well does it perform .?

I know some-one with one. When he said so I asked him when he last charged it up. Sure enough, it was as flat as the battery on his car. I have a spare car battery... I have to remember to charge that up too, obviously. The starter boost powerpack thingies I think are ideal for garages or like my company has one to get the last car out of the car park, but for individuals, I think my bells and whistles C-Tek battery charger is a much more valuable asset - it has revived two batteries that were otherwise dead as a Dodo, which I why I now have a spare battery!

Hi, I guess you may have already bought the one you mention, but I had need to buy one myself after a flat battery at the Silverstone Classic this year. Went back to the car in readiness for the track parade and the battery was as flat as a pancake. Fortunately, I remembered seeing a stall selling Jump Starters and rushed back there to see if they would lend me one. The very trusting chap there was more than happy to lend me an Enigma Jump Starter which started the car straight away - success!! The electric fan immediately came on, which gave a hint as to why the battery had drained. It had been on when I parked, having come on whilst crawling through the queues before parking in the PCGB area. Anyway, I ended up buying it, because I was going to need another jump start at the end of the day. Price was £120.00 (discounted) which is quite a bit more than the one you are looking at, but if of interest, it can be found at www.enigmabatteries.net.
