Recommendation for Quickfit in Stanmore

I know there have been a few threads about fitting seatbelts to the back of our cars. Well I took my car to Quickfit in Stanmore today and couldn't be more pleased with their excellent service. First of all they persuaded me to save £100 by fitting fixed belts rather than inertia reels given I will only be using the rear seats once a month at most and they then saved me another £150 by pointing out that my 1987 Turbo had fixing points for 3-point seat belts after all, despite me telling them it didn't and that it needed brackets fixing to the inside rear wheel arches. So they twice saved me money, were friendly and professional and did a great job. What more can you ask for!?

I just wanted to say thanks and to recommend them to anyone else with seatbelt related work

Glad you've got them sorted ok, and found a helpful company!
All 944s (and I tjink 924s) have 3 point mountings. you only need the wheelarch mountings for inertia reels, however I thought all oval dash cars had those mounts, I know my '83 doesn't?

Yes, all cars have three fixing points, with inertia three point belts requiring a fourth mounting point, which has to be fitted to some cars. A 1987 body should certainly have them though, as my very first 944 was an '87 and came with rear three point inertias.

I used them to lengthen my rear seatbelt so I could fit a baby seat and they were excellent

Good to know , especially as I live only a stones throw away in Harrow.........

Another vote here for Quickfit - an excellent company that have been able to supply the right items at a reasonable price on a number of occasions.

Yup had some Quickfit custom built ones made for the TR7 in tan when I rebuilt it. Very quick service, good prices & a nice product.
