Recommendation on pagid brake pads?

Hello
I use pagid brake pads on my RS. Does anyone know how to check what colour it is while still mounted on the car / used?

Furthermore, what colour/type of the Pagid brake pad would you recommend?

thanks in advance

The metal backing plate of the pad, not the friction material is normally painted/powder coated with the colour of the range.

As in, yellow, blue, orange or black, for example.

It's hard to know what to recommend, without knowing what type of driving you will use the car for.

Standard textar/pagid are more than adequate for road and light track work.

If you get serious on track, yellows or "RS-29" as they are also known are more of an endurance pad and last for ages, consider that harder pad material will usually wear discs out faster than standard pads, but braking style will also have an affect on wear.

Agreed Paul, would stick to standard and not suffer the intolerable squeel you will suffer using pagid performance pads []

if your pads are squeeling Steve, you need to get on track more and they will stop! Go on you know it makes sense......

Says the man who's car has been officially recognised as a new world record in terms of man hours for a quick blow over [:D] [:D][:D] ha ha, anyway did Silverstone track last weekend[;)]

Blow over?

The car looks fantastic so far, it will literally look like a new RS soon.......it will be interesting to see how much track work it sees going forward? [;)]

Sorry, blow job then, yes ive seen the photo's Paul, its looking superb and nearly ready for its maiden voyage !
